Overview
It is proposed to make a regulated alteration to Brynmenyn Primary School in the form of an enlargement from the existing school size (capacity of 136 pupils plus a 26 place nursery) to a 2 form entry school (capacity of 420 pupils plus a 60 place nursery), effective from 1st September 2017. The Published Admissions Number for the new school would be 60. It is also proposed that the school relocates from its present premises to a new build school on land adjacent to Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen.

| If agreed by the Cabinet of Bridgend County Borough Council, a Public Notice will be published and there will be a period of 28 days in which to submit any objections to the proposal in writing. | 3 June 2015 |
| If there are no objections Cabinet can immediately decide whether to proceed or not. If there are any objections, an Objections Report will be published and forwarded to Cabinet for their consideration and subsequent determination. The approved report will then be published on the BCBC website and hard copies of the report will be made available upon request. | July 2015 |
