Nominate a local hero for all-new ‘Inspired for Life’ Awards

Bridgend County Borough Council has launched its first ever Inspired for Life Awards.

The new awards will celebrate local heroes, groups and organisations that have contributed to improving the health and wellbeing of people living in Bridgend County Borough.

And with five categories up for grabs, there are ample opportunities for deserving people and organisations to receive the recognition they deserve.

Local residents are invited to nominate individuals, groups, partnerships, projects or businesses that they believe have made a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of others.

We’re really thankful to the people and organisations that act selflessly for the good of their communities, and our new Inspired for Life Awards are an opportunity to recognise their fantastic contribution.

We’re lucky to have so many inspirational people that make a positive contribution across the county borough, whether that’s by encouraging people in their area to be more active, reaching out to our vulnerable residents or striving to make their communities great places to live.

I’d urge all of our local residents to say a big “thank you” to the people and organisations that have made a big contribution in their community, by nominating them for our Inspired for Life Awards.

Councillor Dhanisha Patel, Cabinet Member for Wellbeing and Future Generations
