Recycling tips from ‘the tip’ for Litchard pupils

Keen to educate the next generation about recycling, Bridgend County Borough Council and Kier recently welcomed a group of pupils from Litchard Primary School to take a look around the Community Recycling Centre in Maesteg.

The school has achieved Eco-Schools Platinum status – the highest accolade offered to schools – and pupils on their eco-council are always full of ideas to help encourage their classmates to think more about eco issues and how they can reduce, reuse and recycle.

One of their initiatives involves presenting a Golden Boot award each week to the class that recycles the most plastic bottles!
