Flying Start provides free help and support for children under four in certain areas. It aims to improve their chances and give them a ‘flying start’ when they go to school. It is funded by Welsh Government.
The support includes:
- high quality, part-time childcare for 2-3 year olds
- a health visitor to help with any issues you have
- access to parenting support
- help with early language development
Flying Start applies to certain parts of Bettws, Blackmill, Brackla, Cefn Glas, Caerau, Cornelly, Lewistown, Maesteg Park, Oakwood Estate, Plasnewydd, Sarn and Wildmill.
