Concerns raised over misuse of school drop-off points

Bridgend County Borough Council has confirmed that it is introducing new temporary measures at three local schools following an assessment of how their drop-off points are currently being used.

Strong progress moves Plasnewydd Primary out of special measures

Plasnewydd Primary in Maesteg has been removed from special measures after inspectors from Estyn confirmed that the school has made significant improvements since issues requiring further progress and monitoring were identified in 2018.
