Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board has confirmed the latest arrangements for mobile coronavirus testing centre facilities in Bridgend County Borough.
A new drive through testing facility will open in Maesteg tomorrow (Friday) at the former Revlon site (CF34 9TS). It will be open from 9am to 5pm and booking is recommended.
The testing site at Porthcawl RFC (CF36 3DH) will close today (Thursday) at 5pm.
Drive-through testing is also available at Coity and Litchard Community Centre (CF31 1PA) from 9am-5pm, and booking is required.
Meanwhile, a walk-through testing centre at the Bowls Hall car park in Angel Street, Bridgend (CF31 4AH) remains available between 8am-8pm, and booking is essential for this site.
You can arrange appointments by visiting the Welsh Government website or calling 119. If you have hearing or speech difficulties, you can call 18001119 as an alternative.
The Covid-19 pandemic has not yet gone away. We must make every effort to minimise the risk of exposure to coronavirus, and help to keep our friends, family, neighbours and colleagues safe.
If you develop any symptoms, including a new continuous cough, a high temperature or a change to your sense of smell or taste, you must book a test immediately.
More than 100,000 residents of Bridgend County Borough have now received both doses of the coronavirus vaccine, but we must not become complacent.
Council Leader Huw David
