Changes to waste and recycling collections due to bank holiday

There will be some changes to waste and recycling collections next week due to the Spring Bank Holiday.

There won’t be any recycling and waste collections in Bridgend County Borough on Monday 31 May and collections will be one day later than usual for the rest of the week up until Saturday 5 June.

If you’re planning to get out and do some gardening, registration is open for the seasonal garden waste recycling collections. To sign up, visit the Recycle for Bridgend website.

Community recycling centres have reverted to their summer opening hours which are 8.30am until 7pm from Monday to Friday and 8.30am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Please be aware that gates may shut up to 20 minutes early. This is to accommodate cars that are already queuing on site before recycling centres closes.
