Bridgend County Borough Council has offered its congratulations to Heronsbridge School after it made the final shortlist at the 2021 Investors in People Awards.
The special school, which caters for a wide range of additional learning needs including a Centre for Autism, was shortlisted in the ‘Employer of the Year: Platinum’ category.
Heronsbridge will now battle it out with organisations from across the UK at an online final ceremony on 23 November.
We are incredibly proud of Heronsbridge School and would like to offer them our congratulations after being shortlisted for this sought-after award. This is a clear indication of the dedication and hard work that the Heronsbridge team has invested in the school.
The award is a culmination of the school’s 25-year engagement with Investors in People, which has helped drive forward a commitment to supporting the learning experiences of children within the school.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish Heronsbridge School the very best of luck ahead of next month’s virtual award ceremony.
Councillor Charles Smith, Cabinet Member for Education and Regeneration
The winners of the award will be announced at an online ceremony on November 23 2021.
