A new classroom will be built to provide some much needed extra space at Cwmfelin Primary School.
Cabinet Members from Bridgend County Borough Council have agreed to spend £165,000 on the classroom, which will be built on land close to the nursery building.
Despite staff making the best use of the school premises, the classroom spaces at Cwmfelin Primary School are insufficient, so we are all in agreement that this investment is needed.
The new classroom will be big enough to accommodate 20 pupils, and will give the school more room for group work and delivering interventions for pupils who need extra support.
