The search is on for the unsung heroes of Bridgend County Borough’s local communities.
The 2020 Inspire for Life Awards celebrate people, groups and organisations that have gone the extra mile to improve the health and wellbeing of local people.
We are inviting nominations from individuals, groups, partnerships, projects or businesses that you believe have made a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of others.
With five categories to apply for, there’s plenty of opportunity for deserving people and organisations to receive the recognition they deserve. The categories include:-
- Made a difference award
- Above and beyond award
- The future is bright award
- The power of one award
- Innovation award
We’re really thankful to the people and organisations that act selflessly for the good of their communities. We’re lucky to have so many inspirational people that make a positive contribution across the county borough, whether that’s by encouraging people in their area to be more active, reaching out to our vulnerable residents or striving to make their communities better places to live.
If you know an individual or organisation you think deserves recognition for all their hard work, I’d urge you to nominate them.
It’s the perfect opportunity to say a big “thank you” to anyone that has made a major impact in their local communities.
Councillor Dhanisha Patel, Cabinet Member for Wellbeing & Future Generations
