Scott Quinnell the guest speaker for business breakfast event

Welsh rugby legend Scott Quinnell will be the guest speaker at the Bridgend Business Forum’s annual St David’s Day business breakfast on Thursday 1 March.

Held at the Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel in Coychurch, the event will give local businesses an excellent opportunity to network while being entertained by one of the country’s finest sporting leaders.

As well as having plenty of enthralling rugby stories to reminisce over, Quinnell will also discuss his battles with dyslexia.

Supported by Bridgend County Borough Council, the Bridgend Business Forum offers a collective voice for local businesses of all sizes and sectors in the county borough.

Chair of the forum, Ian Jessopp, said: “I’m really looking forward to this year's event. It’s always an excellent morning celebrating local business’ success across the county borough and is a great opportunity for attendees to make new business connections. I am sure Scott's mix of sport, business and charitable work will be both entertaining and inspiring.”

The Bridgend Business Forum hosts a range of events throughout the year that help local companies to grow and flourish.

The annual St David’s Day breakfast event is definitely one not to be missed. Scott Quinnell is an entertaining speaker with so many inspirational experiences to recount, and as a passionate Welshman he’s the ideal guest for St David’s Day.

As well as there being lots of good company to enjoy, the event will also include a hearty full Welsh breakfast, so there’s plenty to look forward to!

Councillor Charles Smith, Cabinet Member for Education and Regeneration.

The event’s main sponsor Baldwins Accountants will also be in attendance, along with event registration sponsor Aevitas, and KK Solutions.
