Report an issue to Bridgend County Borough Council.

When reporting a problem to us please provide as many useful details as you can, including the date and time you noticed the issue, where it is located and your name and daytime contact number.

The council has the power to remove and dispose of abandoned vehicles under the Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978.

An empty property is a private sector residential property which has been unoccupied for six months or more.

It is an offence for dog owners not to remove any faeces deposited by their dog.

Fly-tipping is illegally dumping waste. This could be on the side of the road, on private land or in rivers.

The Corporate Fraud Investigation Team consists of professionally trained investigators who conduct civil and criminal investigations relating to the prevention and detection of crime, apprehension and prosecution of offenders, and the recovery of the proceeds of crime.

Report issue on the road or pavement, including potholes, debris/mud, obstruction, snow/ice, standing water and spillages

Report green areas on roads or pavements, including damaged verge, trees, weeds, hedges and brambles or overgrowth

Council tax fraud happens when someone provides false information to us to avoid paying the correct amount.

This can include misuse of a genuine permit or the use of a counterfeit permit.

If you suspect that someone is committing fraud against the council, you should report them straight away using our online form.

Trading standards issues such as doorstep crime, animal health and welfare, scams and illegal money lending should be reported to Shared Regulatory Services.
