Report graffiti

We are responsible for removing graffiti from council owned property, but not for private property, as it is the owner or occupiers’ responsibility.

Graffiti is usually offensive, intrusive and unsightly.

Evidence shows that if graffiti is not tackled promptly, the problem gets worse and an area can appear uncared for. This leads to further damage and vandalism that can make the area feel unwelcoming and unsafe.

Where there are offensive images or language which the public can see, we will offer assistance to clear it. This is provided that the owner indemnifies us against any damage caused by caustic materials.
