Bridgend Youth Council’s composition

It consists of a mayor, cabinet members and teams of youth councillors. It is set up and run by local young people, and is an entirely separate entity from Bridgend County Borough Council. Megan Stone is this year’s Youth Mayor, and the Deputy Youth Mayor is Tino Kaseke.

  2. Education of Democracy and UK politics in schools
  3. Tackling Youth Violence through prevention programmes

Deputy Youth Mayor – Tino Kaseke
His 3 main priorities for his term are:

  1. Youth mental Health Awareness and support in schools
  2. Educational prevention to bring an end to racism and injustice
  3. Supporting LGBTQ+ Rights
