Bridgend West Primary Schools Consultation
This consultation is to invite views on a proposal that could provide new modern educational facilities in the west of the county borough.
The proposal includes replacing Corneli Primary School and Afon y Felin Primary School with an all-new school at Plas Morlais from 1 September 2023.
The proposal also outlines how Welsh-medium primary school Ysgol Y Ferch O’r Sgêr could gain new buildings and expand onto the current site occupied by Corneli Primary from 2 September 2024.

If agreed by the Cabinet of Bridgend County Borough Council, a Public Notice will be published and there will be a period of 28 days in which to submit any objections to the proposal in writing. |

If there are no objections Cabinet can decide whether to proceed or not. If there are any objections, an Objections Report will be forwarded to Cabinet for their consideration and subsequent determination. The approved report will then be published on the BCBC website and hard copies of the report will be made available upon request. |
