Overview

Last year, in the face of serious financial reductions expected over the next four years, Bridgend County Borough Council proposed three new priorities in order to deliver its vision of working together to improve lives across the county borough:

  • Supporting a successful economy
  • Helping people to be more self-reliant
  • Smarter use of resource

There were over 1,800 responses to the original survey with the majority of respondents supporting the introduction of the three priorities. This next stage will look at creating ways for citizens to put forward suggestions on how we measure the three priorities. These measures will complement our own indicators and help us set specific targets to monitor our progress.
