Polling districts, places and stations review

This review focuses on ensuring that all voters have reasonable and adequate voting facilities, which also cater for disabled voters. Consequently, it will consider each polling place based on:

  • general access
  • accessibility for disabled voters
  • suitability to effectively run polling
  • the electorate’s size
  • its distance from all of the polling district’s areas
  • public transport access to alternatives
  • the cost effectiveness of arrangements

Any new polling districts and polling places will become effective in time for the next scheduled election in 2020.

Comments and representations must be made in writing to the Electoral Services Office by 4pm on 8 November 2019.

Then the consultation will pause. When it reopens on 15 November, it will be possible to respond to comments which have been made.
