Additional food parcel for secondary pupils eligible for free school meals

Secondary school pupils who are entitled to free school meals will receive an additional food parcel in the week commencing 21 December.

A two-week food parcel has been delivered to home addresses for all eligible pupils this week but after the announcement that secondary pupils would learn from home for the week commencing 14 December, they will get an extra parcel to last them through this period.

Anyone who has previously opted out of the provision will not receive a food parcel unless they email FSMCOVID19@bridgend.gov.uk to reinstate the provision.

Food parcels will be delivered in the following areas on the following days:

Monday, 21 December

Aberkenfig, Bettws, Coytrahen, Brynmenyn, Tondu, Sarn, Bryncethin, Bryncoch, Ynysawdre, Coity, Litchard, Wildmill, Penyfai, Bridgend town, Cefn Glas, Broadlands, Bryntirion, Brackla, Trelales, Pencoed, Penprysg, Coychurch, Heol Y Cyw, Rhiwceilog and any out of county areas.

Tuesday, 22 December

Caerau, Cwmfelin, Garth, Llangynwyd, Maesteg, Nantyffyllon, Nantymoel, Ogmore Vale, Pantyrawel, Pricetown, Lewistown, Blackmill, Evanstown, Gilfach Goch, Blaengarw, Pontycymer, Llangeinor, Braich-Y-Cymer, Pantygog, Pontyrhyl, Pyle, Kenfig Hill, Cefn Cribwr, North Cornelly, South Cornelly, Nottage, Newton and Porthcawl.
