Bridgend street market this weekend

The next Bridgend street market will be held on Caroline Street this Saturday 21 April, 10am to 4pm, with a variety of food, craft and entertainment on offer!

Every third Saturday until October, a range of local traders are selling their products at monthly street markets which have been organised by Bridgend County Borough Council with support from the ‘CF31 Bid’ group.

Amongst the stallholders you will find this Saturday are: Afal Y Graig Welsh Artisan Cider & Perry, Dough To Go, Wales Ales and Craft Beers, Palmist, Dzines by Jill and so much more.

The monthly street markets bring more trade and visitors into Bridgend town centre, so we’re very happy that they have returned for another year. The markets always offer something for everyone, from food, to craft and entertainment for the children, and are a fantastic addition to the daily indoor market.

Cabinet members and councillors are very enthusiastic for Bridgend's role as a market town. As well as the street market, please go along the arcade to support the indoor market, and remember that the first hour is free at the nearby Rhiw Car Park.

Councillor Charles Smith, Bridgend County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Regeneration
