Christmas and New Year at Bridgend County Borough Council

Bridgend County Borough Council has confirmed what its opening hours will be over the Christmas and New Year period.
Council services will be available until 3pm on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and will be unavailable on Monday 27 - Tuesday 28 December 2021 and Monday 3 January 2022.
Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 4 January 2022:
Christmas Eve- 8.30am-3pm
Monday 27 December- Closed
Tuesday 28 December- Closed
Wednesday 29 December- 8.30am-5pm
Thursday 30 December- 8.30am-5pm
New Year’s Eve- 8.30am-3pm
Monday 3 January- Closed
Tuesday 4 January- 8.30am-5pm
Recycling and waste collections will continue as normal up to and including Christmas Eve. From Monday 27 December - Thursday 30 December, collections will take place one day later than your normal collection date.
Recycling and waste that is due to be collected on Friday 31 December 2021 will be picked up on Sunday 2 January 2022.
Collections will return to normal service from Monday 3 January 2022 with no changes to the days on which recycling and waste are collected.
