Employability Bridgend offers free training and advice

Staff at Employability Bridgend are offering support to new and existing clients who are looking for additional work or new opportunities amidst the Coronavirus outbreak.

Employability Bridgend offer many services including free 1-2-1 support over the phone or via text as well as free online and Skype training courses in compliance with the Government’s social distancing guidance.

Over the past fortnight, despite the difficult circumstances, thirteen people have received support from Employability Bridgend to start either a new or additional job as a key worker in social care, retail and distribution.

Support is also available if you require assistance in completing application forms or if you want to put together a CV.

The Employability Bridgend team are working hard to support local people to improve their work situation, which is very important in these uncertain times.

I would urge anybody who is looking to start work or take on an additional role to contact the team who can offer many different areas of support.

Councillor Huw David, the council’s Leader
