Free PopUp Business School returns to Bridgend!

A free PopUp Business School that provides participants with the knowledge and tools needed to start their own business without funding or money is returning to Bridgend County Borough for one week only this March!

Taking place at Halo’s Bridgend Life Centre from Monday 25 to Friday 29 March 10am until 3pm, the PopUp Business School is open to anyone with an interest in business and encourages participants to take the first step in setting up their own enterprise. You don’t need a business plan or any start-up capital, all you need to do is turn up and absorb all the useful information around you.

It is completely free to attend and is fully supported by Bridgend County Borough Council’s Employability Bridgend, which is funded by the European Social Fund and the Welsh Government.

With different subjects on offer each day, the week-long course covers everything from how to start a business for free, to sales and the dark art of marketing. Participants will also discover how to make an effective free website and how to find customers online and offline through powerful marketing and sales techniques.

The PopUp Business School is a fantastic opportunity for local individuals with a keen interest in starting their own business to learn new skills and gain the knowledge and confidence needed to take that first step. Employability Bridgend will continue to work with clients after the event to support bringing their idea to fruition.

We’re proud to be supporting this as partners of the Bridgend PopUp Business School and would encourage as many business-minded people as possible to attend this life-changing event.

Councillor Dhanisha Patel, Bridgend County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Wellbeing and Future Generations
