New classrooms for Cefn Cribwr Primary

New classrooms for children with additional learning needs and an all-new external soft play area have been installed at Cefn Cribwr Primary.

The project, which was carried out in stages to accommodate the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, required the demolition of several existing structures at the school, including an ageing, unsuitable double classroom.

As well as the new classrooms, the project has delivered further all-new facilities including toilets, cloakrooms, storage areas and safe intervention spaces.

Bridgend County Borough Council remains committed towards providing children with the very best learning environments possible, and the new classrooms, play area and additional facilities are going to benefit local children for generations to come.

This represents an investment which is in excess of £500,000, and I would like to thank the school and the local community for the significant role that they have both played in helping to deliver these new facilities.
