New website brings together health, well-being, social care, education and voluntary sector

A new website for the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Regional Partnership Board has been launched to highlight local efforts to tackle inequalities and improve health, social care and well-being services across the Bridgend County Borough, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf areas.

Designed with input from local residents and organisations, the new website aims to provide a platform that will inspire local people, keep them informed and encourage them to get involved.

Priority areas for the board include people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health issues, autistic people, unpaid carers, young people, children and older people.

Together with its partners, the board seeks to accelerate and improve services and support to provide better health and well-being outcomes.

The new website will play a key role in supporting the board’s regional Population Needs Assessment, which takes place every five years and is developed in partnership with community groups, organisations and residents.

As well as helping people to get involved and keeping them updated, the website will also focus on projects such as the £12m Integrated Care Fund, the £7m Transformation Programme and the work of the Research, Innovation and Improvement Co-Ordination Hub which seeks to avoid duplication of effort and enable the sharing of good practice.
