School lunches to continue throughout the Easter holidays

Children eligible for free school meals can continue to collect a packed lunch from schools across Bridgend county borough over the Easter holidays.

During the coronavirus outbreak, catering staff are putting together 7,200 packed lunches every week for daily collection.

It is part of the local authority’s emergency mobilisation plan during the pandemic.

We will continue to provide packed lunches for those eligible for free school meals for as long as possible or until Welsh Government policy changes.

We want to ensure that we do our best for those families who need support at this time.

We ask families to inform us if their circumstances change or if they have a change in address.

Bridgend County Borough Council’s cabinet member for education Charles Smith
