Tickets sold out for this year’s free Santa Trail

Tickets have now sold out for this year’s free Santa Trail taking place in Bridgend town centre on Saturday 27 November.

In order to comply with Welsh Government coronavirus pandemic guidance, numbers for the event have been restricted with specific timeslots in place throughout the day.

The Santa Trail is being organised by Bridgend County Borough Council in partnership with EPM Creative, and a financial contribution from Bridgend Town Council.

We are delighted by the response to the ticket release for this year’s Santa Trail and hope all those with tickets will really enjoy the various festive-themed zones.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there is a need to restrict numbers and those attending have been given timed slots throughout the day to help keep people safe.

We know some will be disappointed at missing out but hope people understand the importance of ensuring public safety at this time.

The council’s Cabinet Member for Communities Stuart Baldwin

The Santa Trail is just one of the ways in which local residents and visitors are being invited to celebrate the festive season in the county borough.

With a focus on shopping locally, the local authority is helping promote businesses via digital apps and a Christmas website where residents and visitors are invited to make the most of an array of offers, vouchers, discount codes and more. There’s even the chance to win personalised messages from Santa.

Keep an eye out on social media for a video showing the moment Christmas officially arrives in Bridgend town centre with the Christmas lights being switched on by Santa, supported by the Bridgend County Borough Council Deputy Mayor and the Bridgend Town Council Mayor. There is no public event for this year’s Bridgend town centre Christmas lights switch-on due to the pandemic.
