Registering a birth
Your midwife will give you a ‘registration of baby’s birth’ leaflet which explains where you can register your child and what information you will need to provide.
The birth of your baby needs to be registered in the district where the birth took place. If your baby was born at the Princess of Wales Hospital or at home anywhere within Bridgend County Borough, you will need to register the birth at one of the following locations:

If you’re unable to visit one of these locations, please contact Bridgend Register Office. A registrar may be able to arrange a more suitable location.
