Homelessness Consultation 2019
Overview
Between July and October 2018, we ran a comprehensive, statutory homelessness review. In response to the review, the Council identified what is currently working well, and where it wants to be by 2022. The review’s key messages are in the Homelessness Strategy. Also, the strategy outlines several work areas currently being pursued to achieve its identified aims and objectives by 2022, as well as further necessary work.
The strategy outlines:
- the current picture of homelessness in the county borough
- where Bridgend County Borough Council are now
- what Bridgend County Borough Council do well
- a vision for where Bridgend County Borough Council wants to be
The strategy will be reported on and updated in four years to account for any new information, and any legislative changes. It will also note any new aims and objectives identified which may need further public consultation.
