Crafting hubs are set to benefit rural communities

Five craft hubs are being set up across Bridgend County Borough as part of a £61,000 new initiative which aims to generate jobs and create opportunities where people can socialise, share their skills and improve their abilities.

New heritage trail for the Ogmore Valley

A new interactive heritage trail is set to reveal the history of the Ogmore Valley. Starting at Bryngarw Country Park and winding up the valley along the cycling and walking route to Nantymoel, the trail will be dotted with information panels which will document the area’s past and highlight places of interest as well as additional walking and cycling routes.

Changes to bus timetables

Bus users in Bridgend County Borough should take note of a revised bus timetable that has been introduced by First Cymru for local services.

Kickstart your summer at FREE ‘Fun in the Park’ event

Another packed summer of activities for school children in Bridgend County Borough will launch with a FREE ‘Fun in the Park’ event from 1pm – 3pm at Newbridge Fields in Bridgend on Saturday 14 July.
