First Minister visits Afon Y Felin Primary School

On 16 January, excitement clung to the air at Afon Y Felin Primary School in North Cornelly, with the anticipated arrival of the First Minister, Eluned Morgan. In just a short visit, the First Minister quickly learned of the school which, against the backdrop of socio-economic challenges, champions the children’s self-belief and aspirations.
Replanting scheme for Brackla Hill Woodland is in initial stages

Essential repairs have begun on Bwlch Mountain Road

Emergency repair work to the culvert at A4061 Bwlch-y-Clawdd road, Nantymoel, has started this week to remedy culvert damage caused by Storm Bert in November. Due to the urgent need for the repairs, a specialist contractor already working for the local authority has been authorised to undertake the works so that they can be expedited.
Organic Welsh vegetables hit the menus in schools across Bridgend County Borough
