Recycle your food waste into something useful

Wales is the third best country in the world for recycling, but Recycle for Wales believe that we could soon be number one by making everyone more aware of all of the items we can recycle.

Councillors check on recycling and waste performance

Councillors have been scrutinising Bridgend County Borough Council’s recycling service today, hearing how local residents have helped the local authority go from 21st place to the second best for recycling in Wales in just one year.

Bank Holiday recycling and waste changes

There won’t be any recycling and waste collections in Bridgend County Borough on Monday 27 August due to the Bank Holiday, so collections will be one day later than usual for the rest of the week up until Saturday 1 September.

Warning issued against recycling gas canisters

A warning is being issued for Bridgend County Borough residents not to put any gas canisters, such as those used in camping, out with their kerbside recycling or bin bag collections.

Recycling tips from ‘the tip’ for Litchard pupils
